My journey to becoming a Professional Organizer began many years ago. My mom, Sandy, was a classic “born-organized” lady who raised me to value loving my family and creating a comfortable haven for them to come home to. She seemed to innately understand the positive impact that having a peaceful and well-ordered home could have on a person’s well-being and lovingly impressed that upon me. Since then, I have walked through many experiences in life that have called upon the organizing skills my sweet mom taught me.
The most recent part of my journey involved moving my precious mom in with my family so we could care for her as she battled the ravages of Alzheimer’s Disease. Upon her passing in September of 2022, my husband and I became empty nesters. We downsized and moved back home to Charlotte, where we met and were married all the way back in 1990! As this new season of life was upon me, I realized I was ready for a new beginning. And that’s how the concept of Shelf Improvement Organizing came to be.
I am thrilled to offer my organizing services to my neighbors in Charlotte.
